I am NOT a Programmer. There. I said it.
I have been asked many times to share some codes when assisting people in troubleshooting issues. This is my attempt to make these requests easier to fulfill. I am still trying to decide whether to just post all the scripts here, or add them as I get requests for them. Right now, I'll just go with the flow and only post what's been recently requested. With time, I hope everything makes it to this page.
Most of the codes you will find here are NOT the most efficient codes that can be written. Yes, they are buggy and may even cause memory leaks and other unpleasant things.
I probably would have written these codes better IF I had had any formal introduction to coding. What can I say? I am a Windows Administrator who happens to find himself needing a QUICKER way to do things and know how to cobble together snippet of codes from diverse sources to achieve the IMMEDIATE GOAL at hand at that particular moment in time. Some of the scripts here were written in response to questions/requests from some other Administrators I frequently meet in the various NewGroups and Mailing Lists. Elegance was NEVER a consideration at any point of the entire process.
Lastly, you WILL see traces of codes from many familiar (and unfamiliar) sources in MOST (if not ALL) of the scripts you find here. Where possible, I have left any acknowledgement intact in the borrowed codes. Some codes can not be attributed to a specific source and have, therefore, NOT been acknowledged. This is not meant to convey the impression that I am taking credit for these unatributed codes, it just means that I am still searching for the original writer. If any piece of your original work makes it into MY scripts here, the credit is duly yours, and whoever you are, you are "NOGGED"
